Hi, I’m Lesley and have been helping out at RAW People since the beginning of time, usually at WSW on a Thursday evening and some of the events and coffee mornings due to this being my only free time. Through volunteering at RAW People this raised my awareness of the much needed support within all areas of our community’s mental health needs and also lead me into working as a full-time support work for Aspire. I have learned a lot since starting, but every day is a school day, so I’m always open to listening and learning more in mental health support. I’m a patient caring listener always looking to help out when I can, I enjoy the silence of nature, listening to books, the more relaxing things in life, time to reflect, just chilling or getting crafty, I also love puzzles and board games. My family are my life and I love to see them all whenever possible but my everyday world consists of my better half and best friend Simon and our fur baby Dolly.
