We currently collect and process the following information:
• Service user’s personal data and sensitive data that they provide to evidence support offered
• Third party referrals data received from other organisations
• Employee and volunteer personal data

How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
• Group users are requested to complete a personal information form to attend our sessions.
• To register for events/courses we hold or are in partnership with.
• To allow us to collect demographic data for funding and reporting purposes

We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:
• Third parties which refer potential beneficiaries to access our sessions.

We use the information that you have given us in order to:
• To assist in the event of an accident or emergency
• Evaluate the progress of our group sessions
• Assist with evidence for future funding applications
• Identify areas of improvement

We may share this information with NHS services or other partnership organisations, in which case you would be notified.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored.

We keep basic personal identifiers data, criminal convictions and offences, ethnic origin, financial data, genetic or biometric data, identification data and location data for 7 years. We will then dispose of your information by deleting or obscuring any electronic files and securely destroying any physical paperwork confidentially.

Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
